Text about a job turned into a locked account and lost money

Someone texted me saying they had a job opportunity and got my number from a friend. The job they explained was investing to help promote products for companies to reach their metrics. Once the metric was hit I could withdraw my investment plus commission.

Small investments up to $400 went fine. Then they offered a $3,850 investment. I put that in and now my account is locked. They say I can't withdraw without paying another $5,560. I reached out to other "employees" for help and got shut down. Now my money is gone. I don't even know if those people are real or bots.

One employee in the WhatsApp chat admitted the company falsifies purchase records. So either it's a straight crypto scam or they're faking stuff or both. I lost $5,480 total.
