Got a letter about my home title that seems like a scam

I got this official looking letter from Home Title Services. It made it seem like there was some suspicious recording activity or something with my property title. The letter was offering me "comprehensive title monitoring services" for $285.

The return address is 2834 Hammer Ave Suite 288 in Norco, CA. I looked it up and that's just a mailbox service place, not a real business office. The letter told me to go to their website, Hometitleservices.us/pay, to sign up. The whole thing felt off, like they were trying to scare me into paying for something I didn't need. I didn't send any money, but it really seems like a scam.

Got a letter about my property from Home Title Services wanting $259

I got this letter in the mail from Home Title Services. Their phone number is (862) 420-0053 and the address on it is 511 S Orange Ave Suite 783, Newark, NJ 07103. It says it's a "Notice of Recording" and that public records show something recent affecting my property. They listed my address and my parcel number and everything.

It says they are a private title monitoring company and they offer services to protect my investment. Then it says there's a one-time fee of $259. They want a response by February 27, 2026. I never contacted them or asked for this. It just showed up. It feels like they're trying to get money from me for something I didn't sign up for.
