Mailer about home warranty with fake handwritten note

I got this mailer in the mail from something calling itself "Home Warranty Programs." It says there's some urgent lapse or change with my home warranty. Right away it felt off because there was a fake handwritten note telling me to call 1-877-748-7535 and ask for "Laura Davis."

I didn't call the number. The whole thing looks like it's trying to use public property records to seem official. It's just a phishing thing aimed at homeowners. I'm reporting it because I don't want anyone else to fall for it. The mailer came from Huntsville, AL and the email on it was HomeWarrantyProgram@mail. I haven't lost any money, but it's annoying to get this kind of stuff in the mail.

Letter about property warranty with no real company info

I got a letter from someone named "Lara Davis" with the subject "Urgent: Unexpected Change for Property". It looked like an email printed out or something. It said "Laura Davis" from Home Warranty Programs saw some account discrepancies. Then they said I qualified for $400 in credit and to call right away.

The phone number on it is 1(877) 745-3153 and the address just says Houston, TX. No real company name I could look up. Felt off right when I opened it. I didn't call them.

I have no idea what property they're talking about or what warranty. Just seems like they want me to call that number.

Letter about property warranty with a sticky note on it

I got a letter in the mail saying "Immediate Response Requested, Subject: Urgent: Unexpected Change for Property, Property_ID 139TW16083, From: Home Warranty Programs To: Laura Davis". It goes on to offer Home Warranty coverage. There was a sticky note attached to the top right of the letter which felt strange.

The letter came from Skokie, IL, USA. I lost $300 because of this. The phone number on it was 1(877) 748-7535. I don't know why they sent it to me.
