Lease signed but no apartment and check never came

I found this place through someone who said they had an apartment near Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. We signed a lease, both me and their company. I sent the deposit and first month rent through Wire Transfer for $1950 but my bank said it didn't go through.

They told me they would send my money back by check. They keep giving me a tracking number but the check never shows up. Every time I check the tracking it just stops in the middle and never updates again. Phone number is (863) 949-0695 and they have a website homefindersrentals.com. Address they gave is 100 West 57th Street in New York but I don't know if that's real.
