Job offer wanted me to buy solar panels first

I applied for a job and I clearly didn’t ask for money. They told me I was supposed to buy a solar panel or something another like that. I almost fell for it and then I thought I better check it out.

They had a website homes8000.com and a phone number (480) 571-9456. The address they gave was in New Philadelphia, OH but it didn’t feel right. I didn’t send any money but they wanted $350.

I just felt like something was off. No real company asks you to buy stuff before you even start working.
