Someone listed my house for rent without asking
The listing has a phone number (855) 847-9337 attached to it. That isn't my number. I just want people to know this is a scam and to stay away. I didn't lose any money, but this is a violation of my privacy and it's really unsettling. Someone is using my property to try and trick people.
Fake rental listing on Homes.com with a phone number to call
We actually talked to the owners of the house. They just bought it recently and said it was absolutely not for rent. So the whole listing was fake. We first saw it on Zillow on June 6 but it got taken down from there. Still up on Homes.com though I think.
The address they used was 4335 Knoxville Ave., Lakewood, CA 90713. Nobody lost any money that I know of but it's just annoying and confusing.
