Lost $2700 for a rental and never got keys or a lease

I was scammed out of $2700 total for a rental property. I never received keys or a lease agreement, nothing. I've sent everything to the authorities, the FBI, all of it—pictures, messages, the phone number (612) 352-9741. The contact was a [email protected] and the site was Housinglink.org, said they were in Chicago and Minneapolis.

I need help trying to recover these funds. I also want to make sure things like this don't keep happening to innocent people. People work hard for their money and care about their families. Thanks for any help.
