Phone number claiming to be immigration help but not with the company

I got a call from this number (650) 629-4219, guy said he was with IMS Immigration Solution. I been trying to get help with my immigration stuff and he sounded legit at first. He asked for a bunch of my personal info and said I needed to pay fees for the services.

I ended up sending $1,700. But something felt off so I called IMS Immigration Solution directly to check. They told me this person has nothing to do with their company. So now I’m out the money and my info is out there. The address he gave was in San Mateo, CA 94402. Just a heads up.
