Paid for a puppy and then got hit with more and more fees

I paid a breeder $700 from InfoOurHealthyPuppies.com for a puppy. Then the carrier contacted us asking for $999.99 for an acceptable crate. After they said the puppy was in transit, the carrier contacted us again wanting another $1480 for pet insurance.

That’s when we figured the whole thing was a scam. My daughter looked up the website and found out it’s a scam. We lost $1700 total. The phone number was (727) 355-9557 and the email was [email protected]. They’re supposedly in Tampa, FL.
