Getting harassing loan calls after using Instagram
I keep getting these harassing loan calls from 888-269-4978. They call me multiple times a day, and they don't stop even when I tell them to. They're very aggressive and rude about it.
I never gave them my number. I never applied for any loan with them. The only thing I can think is they got my info from Instagram, because I was trying to buy something from someone on there. That's where I lost $400.
It's been going on for weeks now. I just want them to stop calling me.

Someone else's info on my Instagram account and strange calls
I got a message from Instagram on Saturday, March 21. It said "the code you requested," but I never asked for any code. I went and changed my password right away and turned on two-factor authentication.
Then on Monday, I got another text about securing my account. When I logged in, I saw there was another user attached to my account. Some person named @brushdoyle. Their email, phone number, and even their Facebook were linked to my profile. I changed my password a bunch of times and logged out of all devices. I tried to delete their information from my account, but the Instagram app just kept crashing every time.
Then on Wednesday, March 25, I got a voicemail from Capital One asking for someone named Doyle Brush. My Google Assistant screened it, so I didn't talk to anyone. The message said to call Capital One back. It's all really strange and I don't know why their information is on my account.

Ordered one thing from Instagram, kept getting charged monthly
I ordered just one item from a vendor on Instagram. It was called Goda perfume oil. After that, they just kept sending it and charging me every single month. I never asked for that. I lost $108.00 to this. The address they had was 4325 corporate ave in Chino, CA. I just wanted the one thing.

Ordered pants that weren't as described, can't get a refund
I ordered two pair of pants last June from a page on instagram. Once I got them, they weren't as described at all. I emailed them to say I wanted to return them.
They tried to give me discounts to just keep the pants, but I said no, I wanted a refund. They finally gave me an address to send them back, but it was in China. I paid $25 to ship them there.
I haven't gotten any refund. I've emailed them so many times since then and there's just no response. Nothing.

I saw an ad on Instagram and paid $199 for something that never came
I saw an ad on Instagram for a product and decided to buy it. The website looked fine so I went ahead and paid the $199. The money came right out of my account.
After that, nothing. I never got any shipping info or a tracking number. I tried to find a way to contact them but there's no customer service number or email on the site. I sent a message through their contact form but never got a reply.
It's been weeks now and I still haven't received the item. I'm out the money and have nothing to show for it. The whole thing feels like a scam that ran through an Instagram ad.

Ordered clothes on sale from Instagram, paid, never got anything
I saw these clothes for sale online on Instagram. They were on sale so I placed an order and paid for it. The total came to $32.54.
I never received the clothes. They just never showed up. The address listed was in Berkeley, CA but that doesn't seem right. I paid the money and got nothing for it.

Ordered leggings on Instagram, got earring backs instead
My husband bought me those viral high-waisted leggings from an Instagram ad. He got six pairs because there was a "sale." They sent an email with tracking that showed progress for a while, but then it just disappeared.
Recently we got this strange package. It had six little individually wrapped earring backs inside. That's exactly what the first person I talked to described. The return address was STE 313 in Cranbury, NJ.
I looked it up and that address comes back as a real warehouse, but there are tons of scam posts about it. Other people had the same thing happen—they ordered something or sometimes didn't, and got this random package of earring backs. I think the scammers sent these out because they cost maybe 25 cents, just to have something in the mail to trick us. We lost $35.

Bought a bookshelf on Instagram, the site vanished with my money
I saw this bookshelf in a few posts on Instagram and really liked it, so I went ahead and bought it on December 22nd. I had no idea it was a scam. They sent me a payment confirmation email, so I thought it was fine.
A few days later I tried to check on my package. The tracking link just took me to an error page. I tried to look up my order and got the same error. It looks like they just deleted the whole thing. I emailed the address they gave me, [email protected], but of course nobody ever wrote back.
They took $34.98 from me. Now I’m out the money and I’m worried about what they might do with my personal information, too.

Constant calls and voicemails from a health insurance quote company
I keep getting calls from a healthcare company, like one for an insurance quote. They are constantly calling and leaving voicemails, and it's clogging up my voicemail. After weeks of telling them to put me on their do not call list, they still call about ten times a day.
When I ask to speak to a manager, they just hang up. Or they laugh and tell me their manager is too busy for matters like this. They are practically saying it's my fault and that companies all over the states will call me.
I even asked them to send me an email to make sure I'm not on their list, and they just laughed at me and hung up.
