Paid for a fake international driving permit from a scam website
He paid them $127 and even uploaded his driver's license information. What they sent is a fake document. It's not recognized anywhere to actually drive a car overseas, even though their site says it is. Their website also shows fake TrustPilot ratings.
Now we're out the money and he's worried about his identity. He reported it to his bank to try and get the charge back. He also had to cancel the debit card he used. It's been a huge hassle right before a trip.
