Rental car company trying to collect a bill from 2017 that was paid

A car rental place is trying to make me pay a bill from 2017. This collection agency reported the claim was from 5-9-2025. When I called the collection agency they told me there is no claim number at all.

I believe they are running a scam. I did rent from this company 3 separate times because of accidents. I paid them all 3 times. Now they are saying I owe from 2017. I absolutely did not rent from them in 2017.

Interstate Rental Cars will not return my calls. They said they sent paperwork with my signature but I have never received it. I am concerned for other consumers too.
