Voicemail about a loan preapproval I never applied for

I got a voicemail this morning from someone named Sarah Thompson saying she’s from INU Financial. She said she works in underwriting and that my file came back with a preapproval for a $41,250 hardship personal loan. I never applied for anything like that. She mentioned Trans Union and Equifax did a June update and that it’s same day funding with no hard credit check.

She left a number to call back at 833-373-1651 and said the preapproval window closes today at 5 p.m. It all feels like a scam to me. I didn’t lose any money because I didn’t call back, but it’s annoying getting calls like this. No company name was on anything official, just that voicemail.
