Answered an investing pop-up ad, turned out to be a scam

I answered a pop-up ad about investing. This company promised great returns and said they’d do all the work. Their fee was just 8% from the profit, and you could withdraw all your money anytime. They said payment had to be through PayPal or Zelle or something like that.

I spoke to someone overseas. They even gave me a tutorial using another legitimate website, so it seemed real. But I looked into it more. This is a scam. They’re using a company name that isn’t in business anymore and they don’t have their own website. They’re using other websites to trick you into giving them your money to invest. I lost $250.
