Getting calls for months about a tax program I never signed up for

I keep getting calls for several months now. They come from different phone numbers every time. It's a recording that says, "Hi, this is Ethan Cole with the tax resolution oversight department. Based on our records, you may qualify for the 2025 IRS liability reduction program, press one to speak with a tax specialist or call at 800-294-9424 to go over your eligibility."

I never asked for this. I don't know how they got my number. It feels like a scam to me, something about credit repair or debt relief. The main number they use is 1(781) 661-7583. I just want the calls to stop.

Got a weird call about an IRS tax reduction program

I got this call from someone saying they’re Ethan Cole with the tax resolution oversight department. They said based on their records I might qualify for the 2025 IRS liability reduction program. The message told me to press one to talk to a tax specialist or call 800-294-9424 to go over my eligibility. It felt off. I never signed up for anything like this. The number that showed up was (661) 464-8568. Just an unwanted message out of nowhere.
