Text message about my company logo registration with a same day deadline

I got a text from someone named Raymond Ray who said he was a Senior Paralegal with J K Ogata Law Group. He told me a third party was trying to register my company's logo and I needed to file my own registration that same day to stop them. They sent me trademark classifications and fees and wanted $1199 USD paid that day.

They said if I didn't send payment they would let the other party go ahead with the registration. That just sounds wrong. I looked into it a little and only one attorney on their site is actually registered, the rest might be fake. The whole site looked AI-generated to me. When I asked for their Tax ID they refused and said it was for security reasons.

I played along just to get their info but it's clearly a scam. Nobody on their site shows up on LinkedIn either.
