Man pretending to buy a house on Zillow cost me time and money

This guy Javier Gudino reached out with a fake number. Said he was buying a house that was listed on Zillow, so anyone could have seen it. He told me he was in South Carolina and his wife was sick.

He wanted to use a credit card and was really hard to get any facts out of. Had all the hallmarks of a scam. But we did talk about the contract and scope of work, and he even haggled the price with me. So I wasted time on it.

I looked up the realtors involved and called them. They said this man was not the buyer and had nothing to do with them. I lost $18,000 because of this and it messed up my projected sales and cash flow.
