Paid a deposit for a puppy that never showed up
At the last minute he texted saying he had a family emergency and had to fly out of town, so he was going to ship the puppy instead. We told him we weren't comfortable with that and asked if we could just come get him earlier. He said no and sent us a link to a pet shipper website that looked fake. It never updated any info.
He stopped answering us around 10am on the day the puppy was supposed to arrive. By 1:45 when it was supposed to be here, nothing showed up. He never shipped the dog. We tried calling and texting him a bunch before we finally contacted the police. He even sent us a fake bill of sale with all our info on it.
