Text saying I won a lottery donation from a stranger

I got this text message out of nowhere saying some guy named Jerry Heath won the California lottery and wants to give me a million dollars. It said I was randomly selected and it’s a blessing from God. They gave me a claimant code Y1MD$ and told me to text this number +1 (843) 377-3571 for an agent named ABBOT.

It just feels off. I never entered any lottery in California or anywhere else. The whole thing reads like a charity scam or something. I didn’t lose any money because I didn’t reply, but I wanted to report it. The number they texted from was (302) 600-1948 and the address mentioned was Golden Lantern in California.
