Email saying I'm being sued for a loan I never took out

I got an email saying I was being sued because I didn't pay a payday loan. I asked what the company name was and they told me one name, I said I never heard of them. Then they said a different name.

I asked for a phone number to call the debt collector and they said since I never answered their calls they would only do business through email. So I called the companies they claimed I owed money to and both verified I never had a loan with them.

I copied and pasted what I found online about the CTICC settlement being a scam and they are still sending emails but won't comment on what I sent. Now they are using an attorney's name but no phone number. Their address is 38215 Edan Landing Rd, Hayward, CA 94545.
