Facebook post about rehoming a dog turned into a gift card nightmare
Then the shipper said they needed money for a special crate and insurance. Another $700 and then $1500. I asked to talk to someone higher up about why their credit card system is down and they said it won’t be fixed for months. They even sent me a picture of the dog in a crate at some shipping site.
This morning they told me the insurance price went up and the discounted $1000 was gone. Now they are threatening me with legal action and animal abandonment. I told them via text to just take the dog back to the breeder or sell it to someone else. I said I’m done and don’t contact me. I lost $2200 total.
