Text back about a job interview that seemed off

I just applied for this position and I got a text back right away to set up an interview. That was the first thing that felt strange to me, how fast they responded. I checked his website to see if other people were scammed by these people.

The text came from 1(917) 997-1450 and the email was [email protected]. They are supposedly based in CA, USA. I didn't lose any money but I'm glad I looked into it before doing the interview. Something about the whole thing didn't make sense.

Applied for a remote job that turned out to be something else

I applied for a remote position online and found out later it wasn't for the company listed on the hiring thing. It said it was for some company called Global Life but that wasn't anywhere in the ad. I got emails from a guy named Jay Solis.

They gave me names of two other people too, Calvin Aquino and Vivian Trinh. Common names. Anyway they had me buying courses to get a license and I don't think the money is going to them but something feels off. I'm worried it's my data they're after. Their phone number is (917) 997-1450 and the website was Jobs2Careers. The email was [email protected]. I lost about 160 dollars.
