Paid $2450 for truck parts and now they want more money for insurance

I found an ad on Facebook marketplace for truck parts and messaged the guy. He seemed legit, we talked back and forth and I ended up sending him $2450 through Interac. He sent me some confirmation invoices saying the parts were on the way.

Then the next day I get an email from the shipping company saying I need to pay $1400 more for "refundable insurance." That sounded off to me so I googled the name on the email request and found out they had already scammed someone else. Right away I asked for my money back from the original guy I paid.

Now he has blocked me on everything. Facebook, email, phone, all of it. I'm out the full $2450 and never got any parts.
