They told my mom she won a car and kept calling for money

Some guy named John Peterson called my mom saying he was doing a survey on retirees from her old job. Then he said he works with a Mr. Richmond delivering Publisher's Clearinghouse prizes. They've been calling her for a while now, just stringing her along.

I found a WhatsApp message she sent to Mr. Richmond on September 30, 2025 saying "the money is ready for pickup" with a tracking number. My brother said she was sending them money through gift cards. They already have her personal info and keep trying to get her to verify it or give more. John acts like he's her romantic interest and his associates use flattery and mention his name to keep her going along.

Most recently John told her he was sending her a Bentley. I know she lost at least $100 to these people. The phone number they use is (876) 790-0294.
