Got a weird message saying I won a giveaway I never entered

I had this message from “Julie Leach” in my Messages inbox. It said, “Congratulations!!! I’m Julie Leach the Michigan Powerball PowerPlay Winner, so you have been fortuitously picked among our electoral machine on Facebook/Instagram lucky winners those getting $100,000 this month 2026 from my giveaway program going on. Are you ready to claim your winning?”

It came through Messenger or Facebook. The whole thing felt off. I never signed up for any giveaway like that. The message mentioned a phone number, (999) 999-9999, and an address in Troy, Michigan. They used an email that’s just [email protected]. It just doesn’t make any sense to me.
