Paid $199 for job help and got nothing but threats years later
Then I found out they had cold-called some random staff people at companies I applied to on LinkedIn. I think they were just trying to find more clients. I told them to stop contacting me and my contacts immediately. A year and a half later they somehow found time to demand 3% of my salary from a new job I had found on my own. They said if I didn't pay they would add $5K in legal fees. That was five years ago and now they are threatening me again for these fees. Their email said they moved to Texas which feels like mail fraud. Their website is down now so there is no proof of anything.
Job help company wanted money years later for work they never did
I just figured since I never used any of the services the agreement wouldn’t be valid. I mean I paid them and got nothing.
Then three years later I get an email out of nowhere saying they’re going to sue me because I didn’t declare any income and the agreement said they get 3% of my first job offer. So now they want another $800 on top of the $199 I already paid them for nothing. I found the job myself too.
