Paid for a headstone and the business address is an empty building

I sent a down payment of $1929.38 to [email protected] for a headstone. After I paid, I went to the business address they gave, which is 11601 Whittier Blvd in Whittier, CA. The place is completely empty. There's nothing there. I tried the phone number (562) 504-0000 and got no real answer. I paid the money and have nothing to show for it.
