Sent a check for car decal marketing then wanted money sent back

Got an email from someone about a job marketing for Frito-Lay on my personal vehicle. They sent me a check for 3320.00 and said to cash it. Then they told me to send part of that money to their decal guy, keep 700 a week for myself for putting the decal on my car.

Felt off right away. The check was from some random person, not Frito-Lay. Their address was 338 norwhich Ave. in Taftville, CT. Phone number was (662) 753-2356. They wanted me to cash the check and send the rest to them.

I did not go through with it. Did not lose any money but it was a weird setup. No real company name on anything. Just an email from [email protected].
