Phishing warning about someone trying to trademark my company name

Got an email from [email protected] saying another company is trying to trademark my business name. They said I need to contact them right away or they’ll let the other company go ahead and trademark it. Sounded urgent so I looked into it.

The email had a phone number (604) 520-8541 and an address at Shaw Tower in Vancouver. The website is legacymarksgroup.ca. Something felt off so I didn’t call or pay anything.

Just a warning for anyone else who gets this. They’re phishing for money or info. I didn’t lose anything but wanted to report it.
