Got a strange call about legal papers for my deceased relative

I received a message saying there were legal papers to be served to Anna Carmichael. The message told me to contact a Wendy Smith at (877) 316-0087.

I called the number. The person who answered said she was with Legal Services and was a message service for different attorneys. She asked for a case number, so I gave her the one from the voicemail: 4700979CV. She mentioned Anna’s name and asked if I was related to her. I told her Anna has been dead for several years.

Right after I said that, the person just hung up on me. It felt very strange.
