Got a text about a loan approval I never asked for

I got a text message from someone named Daniel Schmidt. He said he was with the lending department and that there was an update on my file for my personal credit. The text said based on current underwriting they could move my approval forward and to reach him directly at 833-588-3805.

Then I got another text, this time from an Elena Alvarez. Also with the lending department, also about a loan request. Said the same thing about an update on my file. I never requested any loan or gave my information to any lending department. These are just random texts out of nowhere. It felt really off to get two messages like that from different people about a loan I didn't ask for.
