Loan company deposit messed up my bank account

I got involved with this company through their website, Lending Tree. They had an address on Vantage Park Drive in Charlotte and the person I dealt with used the email [email protected]. They called me from (980) 777-2990.

They tried to make some kind of deposit into my account but it was fraudulent or something and it ended up closing my account. Now I have to open a whole new account and change all my direct deposits and payments. It's a mess.

I didn't lose any money but the hassle of switching everything over is ridiculous. I never expected this from a company that seemed legit.

Loan from Lending Tree took all my mother's money instead of giving it

My mother put in for a personal loan on the Lending Tree website. Then she got contacted by a Lending Tree email about it. They said she got the loan but instead of giving her the money they charged her debit account the whole amount. They withdrew all of her money from her personal bank.

Her bank said they cannot do anything about it. So now she owes them the $3000.00. She never got a dime from them. Just lost everything she had in there.
