Job ad on LinkedIn wanted me to pay to rewrite my resume

I replied to a job ad on LinkedIn. Sent my resume to them and we went back and forth on this ridiculous offer they gave me. Then out of nowhere they said my resume needed to be rewritten by a professional and they wanted to charge me for it.

The email came from [email protected] and they said they were based out of Vancouver, BC. I didn't pay anything because it just felt off. I mean you apply for a job and then they try to get money out of you for something like that? Didn't make sense.

I'm pretty sure it was a scam the whole time. Just wanted to put this out there so other people know.
