Letter about an inheritance from a former patient I never heard of
Then an email came from [email protected] with all these forms to fill out. They wanted my demographic info but no social security numbers or bank account stuff so I thought maybe it was okay. Then they started calling from (226) 705-2500 to explain more about the inheritance.
They kept calling to tell me the Canadian government approved the gift and paid the taxes already. Then they said the money was coming by Fedex. That's when it felt off. No one sends cash through Fedex like that. I never gave them anything but it was a whole lot of calls and letters for something that wasn't real.
