Got a call about a loan approval I never applied for

I got a call from someone named Morgan, saying they were from loan underwriting at 888-269-4978. They said they were calling about my loan approval and that my file was in final review. They left that number to call back.

Then I got another message, this time from a Marissa Morgan from the same loan underwriting number. She said she was reaching out about my loan request and that I might qualify. She said they were missing a couple final details and wanted to go over my options and term lengths. She said to call back at 888-269-4978, and that she’d be available most of the day.

I never applied for any loan with them. I don’t know who they are or how they got my information. It felt off getting these messages about a loan I didn’t ask for.
