They took $1700 from my husband for a Google thing and kept calling

My husband runs a tree business and he’s listed with the BBB. He gets calls all the time from people saying they’re Google researchers or website developers. This one time they told him his business wasn’t showing up for customers and he panicked and went along with it.

They took $1700 that same day. The company called themselves Local 411. Now they keep leaving voicemails saying they’ll remove his name from Google if he doesn’t call them back. He never got anything for the money they took. Not a thing.

Their number is (731) 446-8790 and they emailed from [email protected]. Address they gave is in Troy, TN but I don’t know if that’s real.
