They charged me a fee for using cash at checkout

I paid with cash and they still added a credit card processing fee to my total. I went to Lucky Star at 3700 Masslion Rd in Uniontown, Ohio. The website is lucky star.uniontown.com.

I told the person at the register I was using cash. They rang me up and the total had this extra fee on it. I asked about it and they said it’s just how they do it. I lost a dollar on this.

It didn’t make sense. Why charge a credit card fee when I’m not even using a card? I called the number on the receipt, (330) 896-1868, and nobody could explain it.
