Apartment rental email asking for money before I could see the place

I applied for an apartment on Zumper.com and got an email from this guy. He wanted me to send him money before I even saw the property. No theft happened but I did put my social and license on the application. That part worries me. His email was [email protected] and the website was luminaaprtments.com. The phone number he used was (213) 581-5799. I didn't send any money but I feel stupid for giving my info like that.
