Job offer for Lumivora Oncology felt off from the start

I applied for a remote job with Lumivora Oncology in New York. Got a written acceptance letter with hours, pay, insurance info and training. But there was no verbal interview at all, only emails.

They told me to download my bank app and cash app and give permission to submit a payroll check to my address. That’s when red flags went up for me. I asked why I needed cash app for a payroll check and they got really defensive. Started pressuring me to finish setting up my account.

I refused to keep going and then the whole conversation disappeared before I could save it. The names they used were Claire Hairson and Casey Dean.
