Email about roof replacement asking for payment info

I got an email from someone named Mack Harry, email was [email protected]. He was asking if we do house roof replacements and if he reached the owner. Then he asked if I take credit cards or checks and what my address was.

I didn’t think much of it at first so I wrote back and gave him my phone number and said yeah I accept checks. Now I’m wondering if it was some kind of phishing thing. I didn’t lose any money but it felt off after I sent it.
