Maqdata promised me $2 per entry then kept asking for fees
I found Maqdata online and they promised me $2 per entry for work. The site looked legit and even the certifications on there seemed real. The community page sounded like real people too. When I first checked Google it said the site was legit so I went ahead with it.
I got up to 715 dollars and then the work just stopped. They hit me with a verification fee first which was $75. Then a notification fee for $120. Then a security key verification fee for $85. After I paid all that they said it would take 2 business days to get the key. Then they changed it to 5 business days saying high volume was causing delays.
I waited about 3 weeks and the security key never came. I asked questions on their community page but nobody ever answered me. I looked the company up again and thats when I found out it was a scam. They got $300 total from me. Their phone number is (804) 712-1627 and their email is [email protected]. Address they listed is New York, NY 10003.

Paid fees for a data entry job that turned out to be a scam
I saw a data entry job posted from Maqdata.com. I did the tasks they gave me. After that, they said I needed to fill out a 1099 form and pay $75 for the paperwork. So I paid that.
Then they said I needed to pay $120 for a notary and to release the funds. I paid that too. After that, they came back and wanted another $85 for something called a yubikey. That's when I stopped. I didn't pay that last one.
I lost $200 total to them. The whole thing was for a job that wasn't real. Their email is [email protected] and they list an address in New York. It was all a scam.
