Phone call claiming to help seniors with credit cards

I got a call yesterday from someone saying his name was Oscar Locanzo. He said he was from some new federal funded program that helps seniors with their credit cards. Then he told me he was calling from MC/VISA Account Services. He already had my Social Security number and all my credit card account numbers and the balances on each one. So I figured it must be legit, you know?

But after I hung up I saw three of my accounts had suspicious pending charges. Total was $11,496.85. I rejected those charges and locked my cards and requested new ones. I called the fraud department on all three accounts too.

He gave me a bunch of names and numbers. Oscar Locanzo at 478-772-3045 and 281-816-1829. Eric Reed at 866-978-6521. Gavin Milo who is a Debt Advisor with email [email protected] and phone 386-780-6063 and 866-978-0600. Also Daniel Brooks at 406-212-7719.
