Ordered a custom comic for a gift but it never came

I ordered a custom comic from Mecomic.com as a gift for someone. It’s been over a month now and nothing has shown up. Every time I reach out to them I just get some canned reply saying it’s coming soon.

I checked with Shopify and they confirmed the item hasn’t even been delivered yet. So I asked for a refund and they said no. I lost about 70 bucks on this. Just feels like I got taken for a ride.
