Two fake claims filed to my old insurance for equipment I never got

Memphis DME turned in two claims to my old Caresource insurance policy. The first claim was on 4/11/26 for $4,421.40 and then another one on 4/15/26 for $4,300.20. Caresource sent me an EOB that didn’t pay it but says I will owe $8,571.60.

I never used any Durable Medical Equipment at all. I do not owe this money. Every time I try to call Memphis DME it just goes to voicemail. I am concerned how this company was able to find my old insurance policy and the policy number. It is just disconcerting to see an EOB saying I owe over eight thousand dollars for services I never received.
