Same job offer from different company names

I already filed a complaint about BL PROPERTIES GROUP LLC with a guy named John Mendoza. Now I'm getting emails from Michael Barreto at Merit Properties Group, LP. The offer is almost identical to the first one. The website looks the same too. They even sent it around the same time.

I think these are the same people just using different names. The email is basically copy and paste. The website for meritpropertieslp.com looks like a twin of the other one. Just wanted to flag this so people know they might be running under multiple names. It's worth checking into.

Job offer email after posting resume on Caljobs

I uploaded my resume to Caljobs and then I got an email from this company, Merit Properties LP. The email was from [email protected] and it was just a job offer, asking if I was interested in the position.

I haven't replied or done anything with it yet. So far I haven't noticed anything missing from my accounts or anything weird like that, but the whole thing feels off. Their website is meritpropertieslp.com and the address they list is 600 N Pacific Ave Suite 353 in Glendale, CA.

I just wanted to put this out there so other people know. I haven't lost any money or anything, but I'm glad I didn't jump on it right away.

Job offer from a fake property company website

I got an email from [email protected] about a job. The thing is, the email wasn't even addressed to me by name. It just said "Based on your background and qualifications, we believe you could be a valuable addition to our team." Which is weird because there is nothing on my resume even close to this field of work.

So I looked up the website, meritpropertieslp.com, and it's pretty poorly made. There are no career openings listed anywhere on it. The address they have is 600 N Pacific Ave Suite 353 in Glendale, CA. I checked and that address doesn't actually exist on its own. It would be on the side of the Glendale Express Hotel.

Also, the email has a bunch of sentence structure errors. And I can't believe that the real Merritt Properties, with double r and t, which is worth like $3 billion, would let this fake "Merit" one operate. The whole thing just doesn't add up.

Job offer interview turned out to be a scam

I got a message about a job offer and they scheduled an interview with me. Before the interview I looked up the company and the person who emailed me. I found stuff that linked them to a bunch of scams. Their website is meritpropertieslp.com and the email was from [email protected]. They also have an address at 600 N Pacific Ave, Suite 353 in Glendale CA. I didn't lose any money because I checked first. Just felt weird how fast they wanted to set everything up.

Cold email from someone named Kelly Selzer about a job

I got a cold email from someone named Kelly Selzer saying I would be a great fit for something. So I asked about the job description and they just sent it over without any real conversation, just "hi name, glad you're interested blah blah". The website is meritpropertieslp.com and it is bare bare bones, looks like a power point honestly. None of the hyperlinks work and its really unclear what the company actually does, there's no pictures.

Thankfully I saw the original scam report about this on Ecautious.com before I engaged any further. I tried looking up Kelly Selzer and she appears no where online or LinkedIn. The address they gave is 600 N Pacific Avenue suite 353, Glendale, CA 91203.
