Got a fake Microsoft billing text about a $500 charge

I got a text message saying it was from the Microsoft billing department. It claimed there was an attempted charge on my account for $499.99. The message told me to click a link or call a phone number with an 813 area code to deal with it.

The number was (813) 453-4558. The sender email looked like it was from [email protected] and said the address was in Utah. It felt off right away.

I know this is a phishing scam. I didn't click anything or call. They were trying to get my information. No money was taken, but it's annoying to get these fake messages pretending to be from a real company.
