Phone calls from someone claiming to be a debt collector

Someone called my kids and left voicemails. One said they were Ashely Sean and the other said Ashley Schelling. Gave a file number and a number to call back.

I googled the number and it came up as Midland Credit Management. So I called it. The guy on the other end knew a lot about me. His name was Jason Alderwood. I asked what company he was with and he just said "the office." I asked again and he said "the office."

When I wouldn't give him info or confirm anything he started threatening me. Said there would be a lien on my house and all my accounts frozen. Said my wages would be garnished at 25% and I'd have to go to court. I said ok.

Then I went to Midland Credit Management's actual website and called their real number. They have no idea who I am.
