Ordered ammo online and the real owner said it wasn’t them

I tried to buy some ammunition online from a site called midwesttargets.com. They said I could get a discount if I paid through Zelle. That made me feel a little weird so I looked up the business phone number and called.

Turns out the guy who actually owns Midwest Target (without the S at the end) said he doesn’t sell ammo and doesn’t even have a website. So whoever is running that site is not him.

The phone number they listed was (804) 926-9535 and the email was [email protected]. I didn’t lose any money because I didn’t pay but still wanted to report it.
