Job offer came with a cheque that seems fake

I applied for a remote graphic design job on LinkedIn. They contacted me for a one-way interview, and about a month later I got an offer letter. Then a cheque showed up in the mail, which was mentioned in the contract but I was already suspicious about it.

I took the cheque to my bank and they told me to be really careful because cheques can bounce up to 90 days later and these funds were in USD. I tried calling Raymond but only got voicemail and he never called me back. His LinkedIn looks real enough but Stefania Medford, who they said is Chief People Officer, has a profile picture that is definitely AI-generated. Definitely feels off.
