Got a text saying I had a loan application open with my mortgage company.

I got this text message out of the blue. It said I had an open loan application with my mortgage company. I never applied for any loan. The message came from a phone number: 1(334) 218-4375. It said the address was in Alabama.

It felt really off. I don't know who this is. I didn't click anything or lose money, but it's clearly a scam. They're pretending to be from a mortgage company. I just wanted to report this number so others know.
